Virtual
Archaeology

Archaeology is often considered a bit boring, a bit staid and dry. This is where virtual reconstructions can come in to engage the viewers in the atmosphere of the past, complete with sights and sounds surrounding the subject material.

Virtual Archaeology puts the flora and fauna around a settlement, the sounds around a battle, or just the colour and function back into an artefact.

We can put you in the middle of the reconstructions using virtual reality models which can be viewed real-time. These can be provided on-line for web browsers, or as part of a CD-ROM/DVD-ROM production

One of the most attractive aspects of archaeological reconstructions is being able to put humans and animals into their contemporary environment, using the artefacts and living in the settlements. It makes the whole subject much easier to absorb.
