BBC - Meet The Ancestors
The producers of the BBC series "Meet The Ancestors" invited us to create several 3D animations for the programme relating to the discovery of several bronze age bodies in a ditch near Tormarton, England.
A major part was the 3D reconstruction of the landscape from the Bronze Age period, showing the location of the Tormarton finds to the large scarp nearby, and the hillforts along it.
We reconstructed the wooded areas around the finds, as well as a complete 3D reconstruction of the ditch cut into stone, in which the bodies were found.
Bill Locke, Programme Producer, said of the 3D animations, "I've laid all your virtual reconstructions into the finished films and they look great. Thank you so much for all your efforts.
