Visualising History
So much of what we do is reconstructing places and items that no longer exist. It's a passion we have to ensure that history is not lost, and as much is recorded as possible.
We've been involved in several projects capturing memories from recent history and recreating them. We recreated a shop interior for the Burton Latimer project to go with the audio testimony of a local person. Sadly, that person is no longer with us, but the recording and the reconstruction serve to remind us all of the heritage of the town.
We reconstructed the entire Yeavering Palace complex for Durham and Northumberland Council's Past Perfect project - one of the images from that is on the left. But it's not just buildings that we've reconstructed. People too can be brought back to life and animated. It also helps with adding a touch of realism to what can otherwise look like a ghost town.
Property History
If you want to find out what your house looked like when it was originally built, we can create a 3D reconstruction complete with landscape for you. In addition, we can find out about the building, land or local area and provide you with a complete history of the property and its surroundings. Email us at info@red-head.co.uk to find out more.
